because it’s all about you . . . and your baby!

My goal, as a newborn photographer, is to meet the wondrous people in your world and preserve a piece of them for you. Let’s face it; everyone has a cell phone camera-you hire me for so much more. You need a professional trained in newborn safety who can gently, carefully and safely handle your little bundle to create a mood, express an emotion, and capture a twinkle. I have studied specifically in newborn photography and am certified in infant first aid. I have worked in a local hospital in the Mother/Baby unit for over two years. When you work with me, you will see that I am baby-led and that I consciously follow safe poses and practices. My hope is to capture the joyous feelings you experience with your newest member of the family. I will use a combination of lifestyle and posed photography. My favorite is showing the relationship between baby and family and the love you share.

My newborn session is for babies 5 days to 4 weeks. They are composed of natural newborn posing in classic neutral color palettes. The package is designed to allow you to tailor your session to meet your needs. We can include nursing, cuddling, laughing and loving. Your new little one will see how he fits in his family. His/her photos will be a reminder of the joy his life brings. I also focus on those very important detail images so you don’t forget these precious first days. If you like, I optionally offer several creative props (baskets, buckets, bowls etc) to add a little fun.

I strive to celebrate the happiness your new baby brings into your home. For me, this means timeless, lifestyle images. My studio is comfy cozy with pillows, blankets, and flokatis. There is time for relaxing, cuddling, and laughing.

The Mini Prop Session-$295 This mini sessions is just for baby who is swaddled and placed gently in a prop. It offers a 1.5-2 hour session, baby wraps, styling, 4 dreamy props (baskets, bowls, beds etc.), professional editing and your choice of 5 images.

Just Baby Session- $425 Classic posed images of baby, detail shots and 3 prop setups. Parents are invited to include their hands in a few baby images. You will receive a 2+ hour session, baby wraps, styling, and professional editing, and your choice of 10 high resolution digital images.

Baby and Parents Session-$525 All the “Just Baby” Images and then some. We add Mom and Dad with their new little one. in an intimate lifestyle session along baby detail, traditional posed and prop setups. You will receive a 2.5+ hour session, baby wraps, styling, and professional editing, and your choice of 20 high resolution digital images.

Premier Baby and Family Session -$625 This all encompassing session includes parents and siblings in natural lifestyle images, baby detail images, classic baby poses and a 3 prop setups. You will receive a 3+ hour session, baby wraps, styling, and professional editing, and your choice of 30 high resolution digital images

additional images may be purchased for $25 each or remaining gallery for $99 plus tax

To Reserve Your Session

A $50 non-refundable Deposit (Zelle or Venmo) and signed contract are required to reserve your session. I place you on my calendar based on your due date. Once you deliver, we determine the specific date together. Since a newborn’s immune system is still very delicate, my newborn room is carefully cleaned between sessions. For this reason, newborn sessions are limited.

AT THE SHOOT, the baby is the real boss. I provide several beautiful swaddles and props but baby decides which poses he/she prefers. It is very much like sleeping on your favorite side. Because I believe in a very gentle, baby led approach, baby determines which positions he likes best. For this reason I cannot guarantee certain poses. However, the images are always precious of your baby.

Please let me know in advance if you would like to bring special outfits or momentos so I can prepare accordingly. Newborns do best with swaddles as they remind baby of the secure home he has had for 9 months.

Unfortunately, due to space limitations-only 2 observers at a time are allowed in the shoot room.

Finally, the remaining balance is due at the session via Zelle or Venmo

AFTER THE SESSION, It usually takes approximately 7-14 business days to cull and edit your images. A gallery of images (number depends on baby) will be sent for you to choose from. Once you pick your favorites, the high resolution digital images will be sent to you by email. Be sure to download these within 30 days as our server does not store photos indefinitely. Any prints or albums ordered take 2-4 weeks to arrive.
